Preen Weed & Grass Killer Application
Preen Weed & Grass Killer

  • Preen Weed and Grass Killer should be applied to the unwanted plant when it is actively growing and the temperature is above 60 °F.
  • Shake well before applying.
  • When mixing Preen Weed and Grass Killer from concentrate, fill the applicator container with water first then apply the concentrate. This will prevent foaming of the product, which will occur if the concentrate is in the applicator first
  • Hold the nozzle 2 to 6 inches above weeds and grasses.
  • Thoroughly wet the foliage of the unwanted vegetation.
  • To avoid spray drift, do not apply it on a windy day.
  • Desirable plants and turfgrass should be shielded to prevent harm from spray.
  • If desirable plant is accidentally sprayed, rinse off immediately with water.
  • Weeds usually wilt within hours with complete kill in 1 to 2 weeks.
  • Rain or watering 2 hours after application will not wash away effectiveness.
  • Delay mowing, tilling, or disturbing the treated vegetation for at least seven days after application of this product for best results. However, if the treated vegetation is not disturbed, planting or transplanting of trees, flowers, shrubs, and bedding plants may be done one day after application.
