Young plants form a rosette of large, lobed leaves covered with coarse, bristly hairs. Mature reach 3 ft. tall with multiple branches and smaller leaves. Flowers have 4 petals and often display proment purple veining. Distinctive seed pods resemble narrow, miniature pea pods.
