A common weed with 3 to 10 inch long, football-shaped leaves that are clustered at the base of the plant. The leaves display prominent parallel veining and are typically covered with short hairs. Leafless flower stalks stand 24” tall and are topped with an inconspicuous flower head that may display small white stamens.
