A low-growing plant with thick, egg-shaped leaves that are grey-green and fuzzy. Tiny hairs on leaf surfaces irritate skin. Leaves have an odor when crushed. Insignificant flowers are in clusters and lack petals. Height is 8 inches to 2 ft. Prefers open areas with full sun and sandy soil.
